Hi, I'm Gemma, a fully qualified and insured Level 2 & 3 hairdresser based in Essex. With over 15 years in the industry, I’ve built a strong foundation of expertise across a wide range of techniques, whether working in a salon or running my own mobile hairdressing business.

In 2019, my freelance business began to gain momentum, and by summer 2020, I decided to dedicate myself fully to growing my own business and expanding my client base. That's when Gemstone's Studio came to life. Watching my business flourish has been an incredibly rewarding journey, and the daily growth continues to fuel my passion for what I do.

In the latter part of 2023, I also became a qualified hairdressing educator and assessor, which has been a true highlight of my career. Teaching one day a week at a local academy in Chelmsford allows me to pass on my knowledge and experience to the next generation of hairdressers, something I find deeply fulfilling.

I’m honored to have been named a finalist for both the HBA AWARDS and UKHAIRAWARDS 2024 in the categories of Best Home Salon and Best Micro Salon. This recognition means so much to me and reflects the hard work and dedication I pour into my craft.

At Gemstone’s Studio, I offer a full range of hairdressing services, including spray tanning, and am always seeking new ways to expand my skills and stay on top of industry trends.

I take great pride in using only premium professional based products—Leyton House Professional for colouring, washing, and styling, and Nouvatan for spray tanning. I am committed to delivering the best results while prioritizing the health, condition, and integrity of your hair. My goal is to provide top-notch service, excellent facilities, and expert advice to ensure you leave feeling your best beautiful self inside and out.
